Vintage 1950s MCM Abstract Fabric Navy/Black Green Ivory 5 Yards x 36 Drapey

Striking vintage mid-century abstract fabric, approximately 5 yards long x 36” wide. Features a dark navy (almost black)  background covered in an irregular bright green crosshatch/grid design with scattered ivory squares. The loose geometric pattern has a wonderful 1950s atomic/modernist look, almost resembling an abstract city grid or woven lattice. Lightweight woven fabric with a smooth hand and excellent fluid drape, making it especially appealing for vintage-style apparel such as dresses, skirts, blouses, wide-leg trousers or other sewing projects. Exact fiber content is unknown; rayon, acetate or a synthetic/blended fiber are possibilities. Estimated date: 1950s–early 1960s, based on the narrow 36” width, print style and fabric characteristics. Approximately 5 yards x 36” wide. Very good vintage condition overall. One localized area has some tape/adhesive residue, shown in photos. Otherwise presents very nicely. Fabric has been stored folded and may have normal fold creases associated with vintage yardage.
