Vintage 1883 John G. Saxe's Poems Poetical Works Hardcover Book  Condition: Fair to Good vintage condition with signs of wear throughout. Cover shows corner and edge scuffing, visible scratches, bumped corners, and fraying at spine ends (see photos). Spine is intact but there is a crack at inner hinge/front endpaper. Pages are intact with some age toning. Title page has a handwritten price (75¢). Some small tears and imperfections are visible consistent with age.  Brown cloth embossed cover with gold gilt floral and fairy design, titled John G. Saxe's Poems with prominent gold illustration. Spine and cover both read Houghton Mifflin & Co. Publisher: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, Boston. Published in 1883 (Household Edition).  Includes a collection of poems by John Godfrey Saxe. Table of Contents shows multiple poems and stories including Rampsinitus and the Robbers and others. Interior features classic typeset on cream paper, all pages appear present.
