Vintage Ceramic Apothecary “Pill Slab”

Vintage Ceramic Blue White “pill slab” tile This is a white shield shaped tile with a blue crest of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London. The motto Opiferque Per Orbem Dicor translated I think is Latin for I Am Called A Bringer Of help Throughout The World. The tile is glazed. The back has had felt put on it to prevent scratching so I cannot tell you the maker. Beautifully painted. Holes for hanging also. No chips, cracks or flea bites. Dimensions in pictures. Please review the images carefully, as they are part of the description. I make every effort to call any imperfections that I see. However, if something is vintage and in vintage condition, it is not perfect. There may be imperfections that are not obviously visible and vintage items that I sell typically have self-wear on the bottom from display or use over time. I have a smoke free and pet free home. I pack meticulously to prevent breakage so that you are happy with your purchase.
