Vintage 1960's-70's Ladies Black Horsehide Leather Gauntlet Driving/Riding Gloves Made in Japan  Beautiful pair of authentic vintage ladies opera-length gauntlet dress gloves. Made of genuine Horsehide leather with 100% Nylon fabric sidewalls that runs continuously, around each finger, from the tips of the fingers, down full length of sides for a comfortable stretch fit and elasticized inner wrist cinch.  Genuine horsehide is incredibly durable and holds its shape over decades, it is a naturally rigid leather. The addition of woven nylon sidewalls allows the glove to stretch allowing the heavy horsehide fingers from being too stiff to grip handlebars or steering wheels. These gloves were made for driving and/or riding.  Inside label marked: WPL 9373 Genuine Horsehide  100% Nylon Side Wall - Rayon fleece Lined Made In Japan - Size M  Great Pre-Owned Vintage - the horsehide in still soft and flexible with only very light age-related minor scuffing and stiches are tight.
