true vintage hair barrette. Dating back to the 1940s or early 1950s, this piece features a classic mid-century bow shape made of stamped metal. It is finished with black and red hand-painted baked enamel coating topped with dainty polka dots. Novelty bow with black and red polka dots and a solid red center. Approximately 2 and 1/16 inches long. Good authentic vintage condition! Shows minor wear consistent with age. Clasp mechanism is intact.
