VTG 50s IRVIN FOSTER ZIP OUT Horsehide Leather Shearling Coat Jacket USA Mens 44

Irvin B Foster Leather Coat Jacket.  - Made in the USA of horsehide leather.  - Removable shearling lining (zip-out).  - Color: Black.  - Size: The size tag is missing, but measurements show between 44-46 (L-XL). All other measurements are also shown in the photos (please see photos).  After doing some research, I believe this is from the late 1940's - 1950's. This piece has some weight to it and is more of a leather coat, than a leather jacket.  Note: This is missing the buttons and there is definitely some wear as shown in the photos. Buttons can easily be replaced but I chose to leave it as is. Please take note of all areas of wear shown in the photos.  This is truly a piece of history, not many are available and so this is meant for a collector not only of vintage leather jackets, but an Irvin Foster enthusiast.
