Unusual vintage porcelain shaving scuttle featuring molded pink flowers, white leaves, scalloped edges, gold trim, and an ornate looped handle. The raised upper bowl has three drainage holes for working shaving soap into a lather. The lower compartment holds warm water, helping keep the shaving brush and lather warm. It can also be displayed as a decorative flower vase or vintage bathroom collectible. The bottom is unmarked. No cracks were found. The piece has visible age-related wear, including fading and loss to the gold trim, dark specks, minor surface marks, and manufacturing irregularities.
