Canon Sure Shot 35mm Film Camera 38mm 1:2.8 Lens - Untested/As Is

Vintage Canon Sure Shot 35mm autofocus film camera with Canon 38mm f/2.8 lens, original-style Canon carrying case and strap. The camera itself presents well overall and appears complete. The main issue is the battery compartment. Two corroded batteries were removed, leaving visible corrosion/residue around the battery area and contacts. I have not attempted to clean or repair it and have not installed fresh batteries, so the camera is being sold untested as-is. There is certainly potential for the camera to function after the battery compartment is properly cleaned, but because it has not been tested, no guarantee of functionality is being made. This could be a worthwhile project for someone familiar with vintage cameras, battery corrosion cleanup or camera repair. * Canon Sure Shot 35mm film camera * Canon 38mm f/2.8 lens * Autofocus * Built-in flash * Includes Canon carrying case * Includes camera strap * Good overall cosmetic appearance * Battery corrosion/residue present * Untested * Sold as-is for restoration, repair, parts or display Please review the close-up photos of the battery compartment carefully before purchasing.
