Vintage Christian Wood Diptych Icons Jesus Madonna Child Pope Lot of 2

Beautiful lot of 2 vintage-style hinged wooden Christian devotional diptych icons. Each piece opens like a small book and stands for tabletop display. The larger diptych features two traditional Byzantine/Eastern Christian-style religious images, including Christ and the Madonna with Child. The smaller diptych features a traditional portrait of Christ along with a photographic image of a Catholic pope. Both are crafted from warm-toned finished wood with arched recessed panels and metal hinges. When closed, they have a compact prayer-book-like form, making them wonderful pieces for a home altar, prayer corner, religious collection, or Christian décor. Included: * 1 larger hinged wooden diptych – approx. 5½–6 tall * 1 smaller hinged wooden diptych – approx. 3½–4 tall * 2 diptychs / 4 religious images total Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age and display. Hinges appear intact and both pieces open and close. Please review all photographs closely for exact condition, wood grain, finish, and any minor age-related wear. These have a lovely old-world devotional appearance and would display beautifully together.
