Items shown in the background are not included.

This CA-606 is a very popular model, and I have sold 42 units, including those sold by other retailers.

Along with the 666, 888, and 999, this separate-type CA-606 is a masterpiece that further established Sansui's reputation.

The tone control circuit allows adjustment of bass, midrange, and treble, and uses attenuators for the variable resistors.

This amplifier has been serviced and repaired by me. Here are the details:

1) Tone Control Amplifier
- New Toshiba low-noise transistors installed.
- New audio-grade, low-noise electrolytic capacitors (all Japanese manufacturers) installed.
- Some film capacitors replaced with new ones.
- Solder joints repaired.

2) Phono Equalizer Amplifier
- New Toshiba low-noise transistors installed.
- New electrolytic capacitors installed.
- Solder joints repaired.

3) Power Supply Circuit
- New rectifier diodes installed.
- New block capacitor installed.
- New electrolytic capacitors installed.
- Solder joints repaired.

4) Contacts cleaned and serviced.

Furthermore, I have tuned it up. Without altering the circuit configuration, I have upgraded components in a specific circuit, further evolving the CA-606.

The sound quality, in my subjective opinion, is characterized by crystal-clear highs, a rich and full midrange that makes vocals shine, and deep, resonant bass with a powerful presence. It delivers a very robust sound.

It truly excels across all music genres.

Please enjoy this further evolved CA-606.

While it produces wonderful sound quality, I cannot guarantee its future performance. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the exterior appearance. Also, please refrain from purchasing if you expect it to be in the same condition as when new. Please understand that there may be other oversights, including the exterior. As this is a used item, I cannot accept complaints or returns. It is sold as-is.
