Description
This is a long bag for a Tsugaru shamisen.
Made from fabric that was stored for a long time in an unfinished, basted state. There are slight crease marks on the back, but I believe they are barely noticeable unless you look closely. The base color is a muted pink.
The lining is made from unused kimono fabric. It is a light pink with a subtle pattern. There is one seam, 15cm from the bottom, where the body of the shamisen goes. This is not visible. (See last image)
Both the outer and inner fabrics are pure silk.
