Cwejman MMF-1S Multi-Mode Filter Eurorack Module

The MMF-1S, a renowned module from Cwejman, a high-end Swedish modular synth brand.

Its sound, born from extremely high design precision and rigorous calibration, possesses both clarity and density, adding musical depth to any sound source.

Beyond its flexibility as a dual multi-mode filter, its smooth response and low noise floor are reminiscent of a high-end analog console, showcasing its exceptional craftsmanship. It is not merely a module, but a piece of acoustic precision equipment.

While known for its use by top artists like Aphex Twin, Richard Devine, and Autechre, Cwejman products are produced in limited quantities and are currently extremely difficult to obtain.

Most importantly, the true value of the MMF-1S's sound cannot be fully conveyed by specs or reputation alone. The only way to truly understand this authentic sound is to experience it yourself.

Features:
A versatile filter offering combinations of 7 modes (Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Notch, Dual Band Pass) and 2 slopes (12dB/24dB).

Includes built-in saturation (even-order harmonics), VCA, and compressor (ratios 1:1, 3:1, 20:1). The SPACING function allows adjustment of the dual peak interval.

Cutoff (16Hz-16kHz), Q Peak (resonance), and SPACING are CV controllable. Can be used as a sine wave oscillator through self-oscillation.
Saturation provides warm distortion.

Strengths:
Can create industrial non-harmonic sounds, dark basslines with the low-pass filter, percussive sounds through self-oscillation, and metallic textures with the band-pass filter.
Can further process gritty sounds from modules like Basimilus Iteritas Alter to make them darker.
