Niko Kralj Rex Daybed 1970s Folding Scandinavian / Artek

This is the REX Daybed, a foldable daybed designed for young children's naps, originally designed by Niko Kralj (1920-2013), a representative furniture designer from the former Czechoslovakia. It has been produced by the Czech furniture manufacturer Stol Kamnik since 1957.

The bed has a gentle curve towards the center, creating a comfortable sleeping structure. When folded, it is only 6.5cm thick, making it compact and convenient for storage.

While the overall piece exhibits a beautiful vintage texture and wood grain, there are signs of use consistent with its age. The four legs show damage due to age, but they are still usable.

We also recommend this to those who appreciate Scandinavian vintage furniture such as Artek.
This is a rare piece of furniture.

As this is a vintage item, we ask that only customers who understand the condition described above make a purchase. Please check the images carefully before purchasing, as refunds and returns are not possible.
