Description
This tool is used to press softened glass against it to create nearly uniform grooves. It's quite useful. It seems suitable for making cane, twisted rods, floral components, and glass pens.
A 2mm stainless steel rod is welded to a steel base. The discoloration on the metal is due to heating.
Given the size of the work, it should be good for making cane, twisted rods, and glass pens.
The 6-groove version has an inner diameter of 8.5mm, and the 10-groove version has an inner diameter of 13mm.
The base size is approximately 90 x 170 x 15mm.
