These are seeds from a large, heirloom variety pumpkin.
These are seeds from the Sukuna pumpkin harvested last year. We grew seedlings from them this year and transplanted them into the field. Compared to other pumpkins, the seedlings are larger and sturdier. Perhaps it's because it's an heirloom variety? We have extra seeds to share.
This pumpkin has a long, slender shape, similar to a loofah gourd, and is a traditional vegetable from the Takayama region of Gifu Prefecture.
The size of the pumpkin can range from about 50 to 80 centimeters, depending on the soil fertility of the field.
Sowing seeds is best done from April to June.
This variety is suitable for those who prefer a fluffy texture.
