Description
Mid-century vintage earthenware oval serving platter manufactured by Elijah Cotton Ltd under the Lord Nelson Pottery line in Staffordshire, England. The Rose and Gold Chintz pattern features a central pink rose floral bouquet accented by a gold filigree lace border along the rim. The backstamp is the authentic Lord Nelson crown crest and includes the factory date stamp code 3 154 meaning that the production date was March 1, 1954. It measures 12.25 long by 7.5 wide. It is in very nice vintage condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. There are a couple of areas of discoloration from age. Please see my close-up. Shipping from Florida
